whether, there's definitely a place for you.

Well, maybe you can't go on a vacation and you're looking for something to do. Well, here
are some great activities to think about. There are things to do right here in your own
neighborhood.  Look over some of these ideas, you might like them!

    Things that cost money...

    Things that are FREE...

    • go snowboarding or skiing
There are some great places to ski or snowboard just for the day, instead of taking a long vacation. This way, you won't have to pay for a hotel or cabin.

    • go ice skating at a rink
Ice skating in a rink is nice, but you could also visit an outdoor rink during the winter. Enjoy a leisurely skate, or get some friends together and play a game of hockey.

    • go downtown Chicago
There's so much to do downtown. From shopping, to ice skating, to even viewing the annual display in the Marshall Fields window, the possibilities are endless.

    • make a ginger bread house
(click on the ginger bread house for directions)

    • create paper snow flakes
You can use a print out design, or make your own.

    • go sledding
If you don't have a hill in your back yard, ask a friend. There's bound to be somewhere to sled in your neighborhood.

    • build a snow man
With some good snow, a had, some coal, sticks, and a carrot nose you can make a GREAT snowman.
